• Description

The LIMPET DUAL is two soundboard piezo discs, wired in parallel, which offers a low-cost, instant-fit alternative. It comes in either 'passive' or unique 'Limpet Active' and is supplied with tonewood filter blocks (to reduce body boom and low-end feedback). Some customers prefer the low-cost and lower instrument impact of The LIMPET DUAL and are willing to sacrifice the superior sound of our under-saddle pickups. As the LIMPET DUAL has an extra pick-up disc it allows for the signal to be drawn from a second source, and therefore capture a more complex sound. It is also possible for the customer to fit this system without needing the assistance of a luthier. Full instructions are supplied with the system. This system benefits from some transferability between instruments.
